What is your return/cancellation policy?

  1. Refund and Cancellation Policy During Campaign We understand that backers may need to make changes or reconsider their support during the campaign. Therefore, we offer the following options:

Changing Pledge Levels: Backers can freely change their pledge levels at any time before the campaign ends. Simply log into your BackerKit account, navigate to your pledge, and select the desired pledge level. Cancellation Requests: Backers may cancel their pledge at any point during the campaign. To cancel, go to your pledge details in BackerKit and follow the cancellation process. Please note: All changes or cancellations must be completed before the campaign concludes. Once the campaign ends, your pledge will be locked, and further changes will not be possible.

  1. No Refunds After Campaign Ends Once the campaign officially ends, we will begin the process of production and fulfillment based on the funds collected and pledges made. Therefore:

No Refunds: We are unable to issue refunds after the campaign ends. This policy is in place to ensure that the project can move forward smoothly with the planned budget and production schedule. No Cancellations: Cancellation requests cannot be accommodated after the campaign closes. Backers’ contributions are crucial for the development and delivery of the project, and funds are allocated accordingly once the campaign is finalized. 3. Important Notes We recommend reviewing your pledge details carefully before the campaign ends to ensure accuracy. I can't afford this now, but will you offer them in the future?

We definitely hope to offer all items after the campaign ends on our website, or in person at various conventions! Retail is often limited, and pricing may be different but we will inform all those who are interested of when items are listed on our website after backers orders have been fulfilled.

What happens if what we want isn't unlocked?

While we hope to unlock all stretch goals we realize that this is something that can happen! If the particular item you are pledging for is not unlocked by the time our campaign is coming to an end you can cancel your pledge altogether and not be charged.

We recommend you check out the project periodically to ensure the items you’re looking for are unlocked! We also send updates to let everyone know when items are unlocked/funding goals are achieved.

if we pledge when are we charged for our order?

The great thing about crowdfunding is that you will not be charged unless we are successful in reaching our initial funding goal, and only after the campaign has ended. This allows for ample time fo you to alter/change your pledge your cancel it before the campaign ends.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
